  • France successfully tested its first military UAV in Afghanistan

    SIDMFrance successfully tested its first military UAV called SIDM (Système Intérimaire de Drone MALE) in Afghanistan – military’s favorite playground these days. This highly autonomous all-weather surveillance UAV is based on IAI Eagle-1 platform and can stay in the air for up to 24(!) hours at the altitudes 5-8km and recon in 1000km range.
