Pleo is back
Posted on June 9th, 2009 No commentsThose missing the green pal should get relieved – it’s back. Not-so-well-known company Jetta Company Limited bought some Ugobe intellectual property including Pleo and plans to bring it back to the market soon. If you think Jetta is a no-namer that’s not quite true. Despite Ugobe is much better marketed brand it was actually Jetta, not Ugobe who was owning the plants and producing Pleo. I talked to Jetta guys on CES-09 and they claimed that they also produce toy robots of many other brands. In fact they manufacture almost all kinds of robots you can find on amazon or other major retailers. The website doesn’t provide many details about the company and its partners but if the guys will do things right we might be seeing a new star being born in the sky of famous brands.

It defends Skynet’s CPU from attack. Like the T-1000, it is made of mimetic polyalloy, allowing it to form its legs into stabbing weapons. The only known T-1000000 was destroyed when Skynet’s core was destroyed.

T-1000
Posted on May 22nd, 2009 No commentsThe T-1000 is a fictional android assassin featured as the main antagonist in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The T-1000 is portrayed primarily by Robert Patrick; however, being a shape-shifter, the T-1000 is played by other actors in some scenes of the film. In Terminator 2, the T-1000 is presented as a technological leap over the “800 Series” Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger);[1] Schwarzenegger’s character explains how the T-1000 is a more advanced terminator, composed entirely of a mimetic metal alloy, rendering it capable of rapid shapeshifting, near-perfect mimicry and rapid recovery from damage.
