Goliath
Posted on March 18th, 2009 No commentsThe Goliath tracked mine was an unmanned German-engineered demolition vehicle, also known as the beetle tank to Allies. It carried 75–100 kg (165–220 lb) of high explosives and was intended to be used for multiple purposes, such as destroying tanks, disrupting dense infantry formations, and demolition of buildings and bridges. HRP-4C Supermodel Robot
Posted on March 18th, 2009 No commentsLook at this robot! It doesn’t look like a robot at all!! It’s more like a girl casting for Star Wars!!!
Despite its look and feel it is a real robot though it can smile, pose, recognizes voice, makes speeches and other human things. The robot was designed to work as a supermodel and hopefully soon we will see it on podium next to Linda Evangelista or Tyra Banks wearing something better on top of its Star Wars armor. -

The HRP-4C is a humanoid robot created by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. It is capable of voice recognition and speech synthesis.

Insitu Aerosonde
Posted on March 18th, 2009 No commentsThe Aerosonde is a small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed to collect weather data, including temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, and wind measurements, over oceans and remote areas.
