Project Aiko is Canada’s first functional female android and was developed by Le Trung, a chemist graduate from York University. The project is also headed by Le Trung, who has designed the software and the hardware for the android.

Lunokhod-1 was the first of two unmanned lunar rovers landed on the Moon by the Soviet Union as part of its Lunokhod program. Lunokhod was the first roving remote-controlled robot to land on another world.

Sounds quite unexpected turn, but according to Associated Press Pakistan requested USA to provide drones so Pakinstan, not the US will control its borders and do the strikes when necessary. According to Pakistan’s foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi “Pakistan, and not the United States, should have control of the missile strikes that have killed high-level extremists but also civilians”. So it is possible the next time we hear about civilians killed in such strikes it could be all Pakistan’s fault.

AIBO (Artificial Intelligence roBOt, homonymous with “pal” in Japanese) was one of several types of robotic pets designed and manufactured by Sony; there have been several different models since their introduction in 1999. AIBO was discontinued in 2006.

The T-800 Terminator is a fictional character portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger — a cyborg, initially portrayed as a programmable assassin and military infiltration unit. “The Terminator” character first appeared in the 1984 movie of the same name, directed and co-written by James Cameron, and its sequels.
